(Medal for answer) Which one of the following is a solution of the system? x + y < -3 and x + y > 8 (6, 9) (-2, 4) Infnitely Many Solutions No solution

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the "medal for answer" tends to be implied when you actually ask the question, for those of us who know better, it is not really a strong motivator for a response tho

OpenStudy (amistre64):

there are 2 ways that we can go about this; graphing, or simply plugging in points and checking the results

OpenStudy (amistre64):

but if we assume the say: n=(x+y) we have: n > 8 and n < -3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@amistr I'll give you a medal, just because you replied to his question :P LOL

|dw:1333226110665:dw| this gives us a solution set that has nothing in common; so im gonna go with no solution ;)
