Please help I need an equation for this word problem.
A study shows that 3 out of every 4 people age 75 or older visit the ER as a result of falls. So if a hospital ER has 60 people in a month age 75 or older visit then how many of those are fall related?

this is a ratio problem
\[ \frac{3}{4} = \frac{x}{60} \]
You solve this by multiplying both sides by 60
