Pic help. Choose the slope-intercept equation of the line that passes through the point shown and is parallel to the line shown. A) y= 4x + 10 B) y = 1 over 4x + 5 over 2 C) y= -4x - 6 D) y= -1 over 4x + 3 over 2

The slope intercept formula is y=mx + b. m is the slope of the line. b is the place where the line intercepts the y axis. Lines that are parallel have the same slope. So choices B and D can be eliminated because they are not in the correct form. The slope of the line is 4 and it looks like its y intercept would be around 10 so A is the correct answer.
