18. If sin theta = 0.56, theta is in quadrant 1 for theta in quadrant 1, |dw:1333264980197:dw| the remaining side can be found by Pyth. thm. =sqrt(1^2 - 0.56 ^2)=0.828 cos theta = 0.828 / 1 = 0.83

also, theta can be in quadrant 3. |dw:1333265221787:dw| this time, cos is -ve so, cos theta = -0.828 / 1 = -0.83
