OpenStudy (anonymous):

can anyone tell how can we check whether the domain of the function is bounded or unbounded?

Directrix (directrix):

Do you have a particular function in mind?

OpenStudy (experimentx):

depends on how you define function and how is function ... if the function cannot be be defined from certain point onwards, then the function is bounded on that point. for example: y = sqrt(1-x^2) .... if the function is defined on set of real numbers then it is bounded at -1,1 because you cannot define function beyond that points.
