find the cost per liter of a mixture made from 70l of cranberry juice that cost $1.20 per liter and 130 l of apple juice that cost $0.80 per liter.
(701*1.2+130*0.8)/(701+130)
So what is the ans
I think that is 70 liter not 701
i put L for short so do u have the and
Calculate the total liters of the mixture I think that is 70 + 130 liters, but not sure of your numbers.
70L of cranberry juice and 130L of apple juice
yes ... total cost of mixture over total litres of mixture
After you get the total number of liters of the mixture figure your cost. As experimentX did in this first post........but please clarify the amount of cranberry juice. O.K. I see you did that, and the cost would be 70 X 1.20= $84.00 plus 130 X .80 =$104. For a total of of $188.00
Figure you cost per liter from those totals. Let us know what you got.
before u just pos i just did that then i put 188+200= 388
Why did you add? Where did the 200 come from?
cost/liter cost per liter is the question?
yes
Total cost is $188.00 Total liters is 200 cost per liter is like saying cost divided by liters or $188/200 And I see how you got the 200. That is good.
Hint it will be more than .80 but less than 1.20
if i put 188/200 i get 0.94 and if i put 200/188 i get 1.0638 so i still need the ans
The 188/200 is the way to go bigbaby05
You will be selling this cranberry/ apple juice mixture for .94 dollar (94 cents) per liter, but I would charge a $1.00 for all the trouble mixing it up lol
Any further questions?
thanks radar have another ques for u 6+2x do not know how to put the greater or less then sign so 6+2xgreater or less then x-10 Write the solution set in set builder notation and graph it delow
Gotta take dog outside, be back
k
I don't believe I can not do that, never studied sets. However the less than symbol may be on your compurter by pressing shift key and the , (comma) and the greater than key by pressing shift and . (period). Also by clicking on the leftmost "Equation" beneath the entry box for post you get an editor that can let you put all kinds of neat symbols\[<>\le \ge \neq\] etc.
Sorry for the double negative, but can't do that problem, post it and someone will help.
what sign do u use to get the less then greater then symbols not the ones by them self but the third one u did
From the equation editor that is provided for you Click | | | here
trying to do the > sign with the line under it
are u there
