In tossing a loaded die, the probability of getting a six is 1/3. If the die is tossed 4 times, what is the probability of getting at least 3 sixes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/3 of a hundred is .33%, .33% * 4= 1.22 2/3 of a hundred is .66%, .66% * 4= 2.44 1.22 - 2.44 = .22

1.22-2.44?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would of said 1.22, but trust me, .22 is correct.

alright?

This is my philosophy, you trow a die three times and it lands in a pattern, 1, 2 ,3 all distributed to make 100%, however on the 4th throw you average the number into the throws, meaning that it can land on any of the 3. so basically 33, 33 ,33 ?33 and I subtraced the 4th 33 evenly in the other 3 33's
