how do I factor this: 4x^8-61x^4+225

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

let x^4 = a that will give you a factorable quadratic equation :DDD

i have never solved a problem where the exponent or the power was to an 8 idk where to go with this one

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

like i said...substitute x^4 to a..so that x^8 will become a^2..you'll have a quadratic equation
