A line has gradient -L .Could both (2,5) and (0,-10) be on the line ?

OpenStudy (perl):

what is gradient -L?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not given :/

OpenStudy (perl):

a line has gradient what? negative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

negative gradient and it is L .. gradient of the line is -L

OpenStudy (kropot72):

Plot the points (2,5) and (0,-10) and join them with a straight line. You will see that the gradient of the line is positive. Therefore the two points cannot be on a straight line with a negative gradient.
