in the second figure, the only missing element that you need to find the volume is the height. since they are similiar figures, the ratio between each segment will be the same so you have this : 5/4 = 6.25/5 = x/3 isolate x, you get 3.75 now, the volume is the area of the base (6.25*5/2) times the height (3.75)
