hypotenuse^2 = base^2 + perpendicular^2 hypotenuse^2 = 24^2 + 10^2 hypotenuse^2 = 576 +100 hypotenuse^2 = 676 hypotenuse = sqrt(676) hypotenuse = 26

I used pythagorus theorem because it is the fiigure of right angled triangle.
