I need help with this section that I'm on rational expressions here's one of the problems 18/-11x and it says to list all numbers for which each rational expression is undefined
You do not want to ever divide by 0. Will any x make the denominator = 0? If so, the expression will be undefined for that x value
I dont exactly get it I need help solving it or someone to show me
Look at \[\frac{18}{-11x} \] the bottom means -11 times x the whole thing means 18 divided by -11x if 18 is divided by 0 you can not get an answer. It is undefined. Is there anyway for the bottom -11x to be zero? -11 times some number x = zero? Is there any number when you multiply it times -11 gives you zero? If so, that is the x value you cannot use.
ok thxz I got it now.....Im not very good at factoring you think you can just help me with one problem from each set in this section just so i can get an understanding please
make your question a new post, please.
