One short introduction is the book, Perfect Form by Don S. Lemons. An excellent book on Mechanics is Classical Mechanics by John R. Taylor. This book has introductions to Lagrangian and Hamiltonian Mechanics.

If you can arrange get the book (very rare) by S.N. Biswas - Classical Mechanics. Alternatively you can follow the book by Rana & Joag or the famous book by Goldstein. I have attached a PDF file as well. Hope it helps.
