okay so given the info they gave u the points (-2,4) and (2,-2) since ur using the formula M=y2-y1/x2-x1 u plug in the points so...
y2=-2
y1=4 but since u have 2 subtract u would have M=-2-4 this wouls be ur numerator
for the denominator u have that x2=2 and x1=-2 but u have to remember that since ur subtracting the -2 and the - sign cancel so now.... ur equation would look like this...
M=-2-4/2+2 then solve, and simplify and u get ur answer! :) i hope that helps! :)
