OpenStudy (anonymous):

:-)

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

u have an explanation for y it wont bump tho? ;) colm have u gotten into something? ;P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, each time you bump your question, the timer gets a little longer. So, I'm assuming you already bumped yours once to get in front of me, eh? ;)

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

nope! it had the word bump, no waitin time

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

The word bump indicates that we decided on the client that you're ready to go. Fortunately, the final check happens on the server, where everything is more likely to be correct. In particular, it's possible the time on your computer is off, thus making the bump clock be off as well. The server's time is considered the correct time, so when we check it there it turns out the bump time hasn't actually arrived yet. That's just one possibility though. Try checking your computer's time against http://time.gov/ .

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

its says my java wont work, do you have a different site?

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Try this guy: http://www.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Eastern/d/-5

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

i have the same time as it

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Then sounds like that's not the problem. You're still seeing this issue?

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

yes

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Very strange. Do you ever see a bump timer?

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

heh tht happens rarely

OpenStudy (mattfeury):

So shadowfiend's link is right if you're in the Eastern Time Zone, but according to your IP, you are in central time. So, is this the right time for you: http://www.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Central/d/-6 Perhaps you haven't adjusted for daylight savings time?

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

its the same matt
