I need help again if you guys wouldn't mind. 3x-7=3(x+1). I end up with 3x-7=3x+3 and I don't know what to do with 3x on both sides? Wouldn't that cancel out the x?

Yeah, there's something wrong in that equation, I think. That would give 10 = 0, or something like that.
