- they can adapt to rapidly changing envirnmt, but they cannot tolerate envirnmtl change. ^- this is a characteristic of a certain group of species. I do not see how this makes sense. How can you expect to adapt, when you are not able to tolerate the same thing?
By itself this sentence certainly doesn't seem to make much sense. Out of curiosity, what species or context does this refer to?
this is a self-contradicting species :D
Although r-selected species appear to have poor tolerance of environmental change, they are said to be adapted to rapidly changing environments.

u der?
Is the question correct at all?
Yes I am here.
Look at the recent post.
This is about R-selected species.
look the sentence is saying that animal or any kind of species cannot tolerate udden change in the environment like if suddenly there is really hot temp some of the animal unable to survive now coming to next sentence like they said that when the new generation occur it ll be more effectively able to adapt the temperature
I understood the point now. Thanks @heena didi!!!!!!:P
as compare to their parents means after generation to generation ome variation occur and the new generation become able to survive in that particular environment but if suddenly environment change then again they are not able to survive in that environment..
Is it like the case of natural selection????????
glad :) @QRAwarrior u get the point??
yes adarssh u can say that..
Thanks didi!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P
