A deli offers 6 different kinds of meat, 9 different kinds of bread, and 4 different kinds of cheese. If each sandwich consists of one kind of bread, one kind of cheese and one kind of meat, how many different sandwich possibilities are there?

The multiplication Counting Principle (I think I made up the name to make it sound nerdy) states that if there are n ways for event 1 to occur and m ways for event 2 to occur, then there are n x m ways for both to occur. So there are supposed to be 6 x 9 x 4 sandwiches possible. :D

Wow, and it was that easy! Thank you :)

This type of combination is independent, just multiply all the choice together!
