The multiplication Counting Principle (I think I made up the name to make it sound nerdy) states that if there are n ways for event 1 to occur and m ways for event 2 to occur, then there are n x m ways for both to occur.

So there are supposed to be 6 x 9 x 4 sandwiches possible. :D
