Find a simple method of solving: 6751X + 3249Y = 26751 3249X + 6751Y = 23249 @FoolForMath

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

no googling :ppp

OpenStudy (jlastino):

hmm there's something fishy about the numbers....they all add to 10 or 0. so first add the two equations i suppose?then subtract? then solve?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

close! but no :))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is really easy. Just add then factor, subtract them factor and eliminate.

OpenStudy (jlastino):

x=3 y=2

OpenStudy (jlastino):

thanks @FoolForMath
