A plane, diving with constant speed at an angle of ̀53.0 degrees with the vertical, releases a projectile at an altitude of 730 m. The projectile hits the ground 5.00s after release. How far does the projectile travel horizontally during its flight?

I think it's dropped from the plane. So it acts as a projectile, but it's not launched up in the air. It has no upward y-velocity.
if it is dropped vertically it wont have a horizontal componnet as well then it will fall straight down meaning it doesnt cover any distance (horizontal) moreover some shud be missing if it were to have a horizontal distance covered in 5 seconds
I don't think it's free fall. Since the airplane is moving at a specific velocity we can say that the projectile is projected with that specific velocity with theta = 53. Because this problem is located in the section of projectiles so I don't see how it can be a free fall problem.
