3x^2 + 4y +6x^2 = simplified 9x^2 + 4y im real unsure of this any advice to get the real answer if this is wrong ?

yes it is right, 3x^2 and 6x^2 are like terms. because they are both multiplied by x^2. the y is a different term. you can think of them as apples and oranges. also the power counts. 2x , 4x^2 are not like terms, so you cant add them
