solve differential eqn: y'+2y=e^t

myininaya (myininaya):

@annas please don't just give the answer without at least an explanation or walking the person through. Also this is a differential equation, what you have as the answer is really way off. Sorry. @Brandie you have e^t on the other side of the equation and y' and y on the other why don't you try to figure out what the constant A is in y=Ae^t since this is form your answer will take based on what we have on both sides so you will need to find y' and plug in and solve for A

OpenStudy (zarkon):

you will also need to look for the solution to the homogenous equation y'+2y=0

myininaya (myininaya):

true dat @Zarkon

myininaya (myininaya):

@annas I wasn't trying to be rude. That is why I said sorry. I know we are all human. I wasn't trying to taunt.

OpenStudy (zarkon):

myininaya doesn't taunt
