just use algebra: divide both sides by 15% so you get n = 6/(15%) = 6/.15 = 40

15% x n = 6 15% in decimal is 0.15 so lets use that. 0.15 x n = 6 opposite of times is divide so we have to divide both sides by 0.15 n = 6/0.15 n = 40 please reward me for my efforts.
