What happens to transpiration?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hm, what exactly do you mean? Is the question: What happens in transpiration? Transpiration is a process in the water cycle by which water evaporates into the atmosphere. Plants absorb water through their roots, and deliver nutrients to their leaves. The rate of transpiration is affected by a number of things; temperature, wind, humidity, and soil water. Is this what you were looking for? I hope I helped.

Condensation occurs after transpiration, so the water in the atmosphere condenses to form clouds. When it rains, the water falls to the soil and the cycle repeats. To summarize, transpiration is the release of water from plant leaves. The state of matter changes from liquid to gas in the leaves of a plant during transpiration. Molecules speed up as transpiration occurs because they are changing form liquid in the leaves to water vapor in the air.

Transpiration is the process where water contained in plants is converted to vapor and released to the atmosphere.
