The perimeter of a rectangle is 32 inches, and the area is 60 square inches. Find the length and width of the rectangle. I know the formulas for both area and perimeter. 32=2L+2W divided by 2 =16. 16=L+W then minus w to get (16-W)=L. area is 60=(L)(W) 60(L)(W)/W =60/W=L so (16-W)=60/W am I anywhere in the ballpark on setting this up right.
