Find the number of multiples of 7 between 30 and 300. Is it 38?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep, it is. never mind!!! :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hint: the first multiple after 7 is 35, the largest multiple less than 790 is 784. Multiples=35 to 784, divide both number by 7, we get 5 and 112. Subtract 5 from 112, we get 107, but the answer is 108 because 35 counted as a multiple too. So the answer is 108.

... actually I just checked the back of the book... I think you might have misunderstood the question. Its the multiple OF 7, but beginning at 30. It wasn't very clear, but the first "multiple" would be 37. Its in the sequence section of my book.
