Mrs. Kurinsky's walkie talkie works within a 7.5 miles radius of the ranger stationed at camp headquarters. From there, she hiked 0.8 mile north and 1.7 miles west. Then she hiked 1.4 miles west and 0.3 mile south and stopped for lunch in Whispering Pines Meadow. Could Mrs. Kurinsky use her walkie talkie while shes in whispering pines meadow to contact the ranger? Explain your answer.
