I'm taking a PERT (CPT, College placement test) tomorrow to get placed into Calculus I next year. Anything I should expect? Sample problems anyone wants to give me to solve? :)
Because I'm looking at practice Math Pert's, and I think the questions are too easy? or does it just determine how many you get right to get placed into a class?
Here, its an online sample. http://www.proprofs.com/quiz-school/story.php?title=pert-practice-test
I haven't taken the test, but I hope that is helpful:)
I did that, got all of them right. But I feel like that it's too easy to determine if I'm good enough for Calculus I?
If you feel that it's too easy, that good. A lot of Calc 1 is reviewing algebra.
If you had to be sure you knew one thing about math before calc 1 though, I'd recommend limits. I'm not sure if the PERT will focus on this, but calculus is almost entirely about limits.
Currently taking pre-calculus, so I know all about limits :)
