According to the Modern Language Association, which of the following should not characterize the Works Cited page? Answers A.Sources are in alphabetical order. B. Works Cited should be in quotation marks. C.Sources are not numbered. D.Entries are in the same font and size.
Works Cited is not in quotation marks. Quotation marks are reserved for quotes, song/poem titles, and article titles. And sassy and sarcastic remarks ...but don't do that in papers. :) For more info about MLA, see MLA's website or (even better, I think) Owl Purdue. http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/01/
Thank you
I was beat to this, but indeed, Works Cited shouldn't be in quotation marks, but it should, however, be at the top of the page, capitalized, and centered.
