When converting a signed 12 bit binary number into 2's complement do you include the signed bit? Ex: -95 to a 12 bit signed binary is 100001011111 So does the 2's complement of this = 011110100001? or 111110100001?

95 is 000001011111 -95 is 111110100001

It is actually critical that the sign bit is included. complement usually indicates the "negate" operation, and you'd expect that operation to reverse the sign.
