This question has been on Facebook lately and the answers were 0 or 13. Also notice that there's a - in it.
The last term is the only one being multiplied by 0? Or should there be parentheses around it and then a "times 0"? It seems like this would be the case in what is written. \[1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 - 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + \cancel{1 *0} \]
Which does turn out to be 13. If it looked like this \[(1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 - 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1)\times0 \] We'd have 0 because anything multiplied by 0 is 0. \[\cancel{(1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 - 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1)\times0} ~~~\color{green}0 \]
\[\cancel{\text{facebook}}\]
Also consider BEDMAS/PEDMAS. This is confusing.
