Provide an example of an arithmetic series that totals zero. Using complete sentences, explain how you created the example
what does totals zero mean??
it has to equal zero
This is what I make of the question. I might be wrong. A sequence with 8 as the first term is created. The difference is -2. Therefore, this is what the sequence looks like. 8, 6, 4, 2, 0. I hope this helps.
i don't think that you can find an arithmetic series that equals zero.
your right sha
-2,0,+2
lol .. yeah FFM is right.
fool i did 10*4 /5-8
i jus gave up lol
i kinda thought of infinite series.
yeah its a confusing question
Just to clear any confusion that you may have, an arithmetic series is the one in which there exists a common difference between the terms. It is -2 in our example.
first i think you should know what is an arithmetic sequence and arithmetic series
i do know what both are
okay ... just construct a simple one.
@cheeto365 question is right, series is sum, sequence is just the progression.
makes sense i guess
thanks everyone
2,4,6,8,.. (sequence) and 2+4+6+8 ..(series) construct one such that sum is zero.
