i have the same problem ... i jump to conclusions before i grasp the problem
ways to obtain 7, 6+1, 5+2, 4+3, 3+4, 2+5, 1+6. There are six possibilities, two of which require a 3 on one of the dice. Answer is 2/6, simplified to 1/3.
