what am i doing wrong here Consider the function f(x)=2x^2+6x+9 on the interval [−4,7]. Find the average or mean slope of the function on this interval when I plug in 7 into the equation i get 780, and when I plug in -4, I get -47. To find the mean slope (780-(-47))/(7-(-4)) = 71 71 wont work however

i got 149 when x=7
\[f(-4)=17\]I mean
damn .. what I am getting f(7)-f(-4) = 132
and avg slope is 12 ...
