explain while solving?
in what format is that? .... I can't open it. can you post a photo ?
its a .doc file.its a word file.
see what I get !
@Kreshnik try this. (s)he uses the newer version of doc
hmm, could be cuz its not backward compatible with 03
its a he -_-
lol sorry, that's why i put (s)he lol
T = total frequency = last no. in the accumulated frequency =50, understand?
how do you calculate cumulative frequency?
It is given...
ah ok,so how would i get the values of m,p and q?
Neglect your question, An easier example is like this Group Frequency Cumulative frequency 1 10 10 2 22 (10+22) = 32 3 23 (32+23) = 55 Understand?
@nck93 Do you understand how cumulative frequency comes?
i get that concept, but i dont get it when you add letters into problem.
Alright , back to your question Group Frequency Cumulative frequency 1 3 3 2 m 22 3 12 34 4 p q 5 5 48 For m, it is = 22-3 because 3+m =22
ah,now i get it.thanks.
3+m+12+p+5+2 =50 you have m, so solve p and also q+5 = 48, so solve q
so t would be 2+T=50?
nope... T=50
why is that?
T is the total frequency, which is the maximum cumulative frequency you can see..
ah,i get it.thanks.
Welcome, any questions concerning this?
still a bit confused over solving p,but i'll get it it.i i get m,T and q,just not P yet.
p is one of the frequency and the sum of frequency is 50, so 3+m+12+p+5+2 =50 with m = 19, so you'll get p
