Sydney played a video game 43 times last year. He did not lose more than 2 games in a row last year.What is the greatest possible number of video games that Sydney could have lost last year? please show me the steps.

He did not lose more than 2 games in a row so we consider that he
lose 2 games then win one then lose 2 then win one

so in each 3 games he lose 2
thus in 42 games he lose (42*2)/3 = 28 games

and to have the maximum value of loses we assume he lost the last game too

so 29 loses
