So what characteristics of enduring stories have you studied? Or which are you familiar with. That's your start. 

Then, you've read these two stories? You should now consider the list of characteristics you have in light of these two stories, searching for evidence of those characteristics in the stories. 

If you've *not* read these stories yet, you better do so quick! Are you having trouble coming up with characteristics? Which have you got so far?
