Help with law of sines triangle problem (pic incoming)

OpenStudy (mertsj):

How about we find angle B first?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just don't get how to start off...

OpenStudy (mertsj):

\[\frac{\sin B}{10}=\frac{\sin 45}{8.2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay....I see what I did. I wrote the equation incorrectly. So I calculated it and got sinx=.86 and then took arcsin(.86) and got 59.4 roughly for angle B'. Then I took that info and used it to find the other angle and got 120.4. Is that right?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

That's where the ambiguity comes in. The angle could be 59 or 180-59.6 or 120.4
