Speed (S) is measured in m/s using the formula S = d/t where d is distance traveled in meters and t is time in seconds. If an object is moving at a speed of 4 m/s for a time of 4 seconds, then how far did the object travel? im thinking its either 8 or 16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we simply mutliply and cancel units to make more sense 4(m/s)*4(s)=16(m)

bc m/s*s cancels the seconds out..... simple to see.
