well it says that that u have so geometric means inserted between a and b for example like that (a...........b) , all the dots reperesent geometric means so its a geometric sequence , and there r 10 middle terms ,it means that if u have 22 apples and ten r in the middle so there is 6 on right side and 6 on left side
