teatmendt of Indians by the French in Canada and English in Massachusetts?

Most French were fairly civil to the Canadian natives...they set up trade posts and interacted with them on a social level. Sometimes they even tried to convert some. Massachusetts, Im not too sure of; I would guess that it was a mix between oppression and fighting for land, and conversion attempts.
