myra is playing a game with a standard 6-sided number cube. on her next turn, she needs to roll a 5 or more in order to win. what is the probility that myrna will win the game on her next turn? express your answer as a fraction in simplest form.

what she has rolled before doesn't matter the question becomes what is the chance she rolls a 5 or more ( a 5 or a 6) probability is all the events that follow your constraint divided by the total amount of events. 6 rolls is 6 events, 2 of which are higher than five, when she rolls 5 or a 6, so the probability becomes. 2/6 (2 events that fit) --------------- (6 total possible events)
