We are doing unit circles.
I know that the first row is: 90 = (0, 1), 180 = (-1, 0), 270 = (0, -1), 360 = (1, 0)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Is the second row(sin(theta)): 0=0, 90=1, 180=0, 270=-1, 360=0
OpenStudy (callisto):
yes
OpenStudy (anonymous):
tan (theta) is = sin (theta)-cos (theta), correct?

not - but /
OpenStudy (callisto):
yes
OpenStudy (callisto):
do cos first, then do tan
OpenStudy (anonymous):
cos row is: 1, 0, -1, 0, 1
OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):
sin(2theta)=2sin theta cos theta
cos(2theta)=2cos^2 theta-1 or 1-2sin^2 theta

cos row : correct :)

Nice:), How do i calculate tan? I know the formula but how do i input in my calculator?
OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):
And, if you haven't learned those, nevermind. I always use those cause I'm an idiot.
OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):
press the number, then the tan button.
OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):
if your calculator is fancy, press the tan button first.
