No @amori - please read OpenStudy's Code of Conduct (openstudy.com/code-of-conduct). We are NOT here to just give you the answers to your homework, and if that's all you are interested in then I'll have to ask you to leave, I'm sorry. OpenStudy is a place to teach and learn, and help guide people towards their solution. If you had followed this Code with your previous questions (which are very similar to this), you may have been able to solve it yourself. As such, you will not receive an answer from me - and if you continue asking for answers only you will be banned.

Consider -$75-(+$25) you may first combine the '-(+) ' sign in the middle. negative a positive number is actually minus a number. So, you'll get a single '-' sign instead of '-(+)' . Do you understand this so part?

OpenStudy (callisto):

* so part -> so far :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (callisto):

Hmm.. consider a easier example. what would you get for adding -1 to -1?

OpenStudy (callisto):

@amori any answers from you??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (callisto):

Hmmm, what do you get for adding 1 to 1??

OpenStudy (callisto):

and what do you get by adding 0 to -1 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1

OpenStudy (callisto):

not really.... negative a number is like subtracting a number. Do you get this part?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (callisto):
