y < 6 3 |4 + 2x| + 3 < 6 subtract 3 3 |4 + 2x| < 3 divide by 3 |4 + 2x| <1 then.. -1 < 4+2x < 1 subtract 4 -5 < 2x < -3 divide by 2 -5/2 < x < -3/2
