wouldn't it be nice if medals given by moderators give XP multipliers? since they rarely give away medals, it would be an achievement to receive one from them, and it deserves a reward like xp multipliers :DDD and besides, mods wont join in "medal parties" to give people free xp multipliers right? so it's safe :)

Hmm sounds like a cool idea, it would be great to be able to give people a bigger reward for great answers - though I would want to have the choice which type of medal I give :P I mean if we asked a normal question we would just want to give out a normal amount of medals.

Not exactly true. Everyday when I answer Bio questions Blues, and others give me medals since I really deserve them. So it wouldnt really be a diffrence since mods are like other OS people.

That's true too :) I suppose if someone else saw a good answer they could tell a mod, I would suggest maybe top level users could have that ability but that could end badly in the smaller groups :P

personally i dont think "medal for helping" is a very good idea because then people would just answer for the sake of answering right? you know how greedy some neophytes get over medals :))
