If you write 3(x2 - 1) - x2 + 5x and 5x - 3 + 2x2, is it immediately apparent that these expressions are equivalent? Why or why not? Consider that a standard form for writing polynomials is quite useful. Give two other examples of a standard form for writing something and explain why it is useful. At least one of your examples must be mathematical, but the other example may be from professional or personal experience. Finally, write a quartic trinomial with a leading coefficient of 2 using standard form. (An infinite number of examples exist.)

This seems to be taken directly off or out of a testing website or standardized test. Please do not post questions just to get answers. (refer to Code of Conduct) However, for the polynomials, if you distribute the 3 then you will get the same result.
