What is the maximum length of the perimeter if the hypotenuse of a right triangle is 5 m long? a. 8.99m b.15.09m c. 20.09m d. 12.08m

OpenStudy (anonymous):

square of hypotenuse = sum of squares of other two sides in a right triangle. The most perimeter in this case will be when the other two sides have same length whose sum of squares add up to 25. So, I am getting the answer to be D. That gives the three sides to be 5, 3.54 and 3.54

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5+ 3.54 +3.54=12.08 minimum length

ops sorrry maximum length
