Diameter = radius*2 --> Diameter/2 = radius The area of something round is given by: \[\pi*r^2\]
If the mini pizza has a 6 inch diameter it means the radius of a mini pizza is 3 inches. And you can calculate the area of the mini pizza. The medium pizza diameter was twice that of the mini pizza meaning 6*2inches = 12 inches. The radius will be 6 inches. Now you have 2 areas, the mini pizzas and the medium pizzas. Good luck
