Write a brief but detailed introduction about the Holocaust?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, is this an intro to a paper?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes it is. I have to write a long essay about it. I've done alot of research and know what it is about and everything but I have no clue how to start it off. I don't need anyone to do the whole thing for me just the intro so I can go from there. I won't use what they write I'm just going based on their answer to do it myself. If that makes any since.

alright, I find it easy to start off with a quote or a fact like how many people died or something, and then go from there

okay do you know where I could find a quote from the holocaust?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok u can google holocaust quote.. I find this one “The Holocaust is not only a tragedy of the Jewish people, it is a failure of humanity as a whole.” - Moshe Katsav, Israeli President

Also for your conclusion which can be hard to write also use anne franks' “… in spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart. I simply can’t build up my hopes on a foundation consisting of confusion, misery, and death. I see the world gradually being turned into a wilderness, I hear the ever approaching thunder, which will destroy us too, I can feel the sufferings of millions and yet, if I look up into the heavens, I think that it will all come right, that this cruelty too will end, and that peace and tranquillity will return again.” This is my all time favorite :)
